Cardiothoracic Surgery NP

Location: A city in Indiana with a rich industrial history, particularly in manufacturing and engineering, but has diversified its economy over the years. This city is known for its parks, and its vibrant downtown area with shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Adjacent to South Bend, 90 miles to Chicago and 140 miles Indianapolis!

Facility: A not-for-profit, multi-hospital health system located in North Central Indiana that provides compassionate, faith-based care paired with the latest in advanced medical technology and procedures.

Opportunity:

• Looking for a qualified Locum NP/PA that will work alongside attending Cardiothoracic Surgeons (CTS)
• OR only (1st assist) - Call for OR only no office with OR, call back if needed
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 10 outpatient; 5-8 inpatient
• Vein harvesting required
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• Will not accept new grad; preference for experienced NP with CTS knowledge/skills including office, bedside and OR.
• Required Duties:

• Assist in Surgery, Write Prescriptions, Rounding, Order Tests, Pre-Op Physical Exams, Suture Removal, Vein Harvesting
• Shift(s) Description: 7a-7a Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.
