- Obtain clinical hours in peds over the summer of 2019 in a residential camp. It is with the diabetes youth foundation diabetes camp. There are 3 weeks of camp to choose from in June. You would essentially be staying as medical staff in the cabins with the children and helping them manage their type 1 diabetes including administration of insulin via pumps or pens, treatment of lows, blood glucose monitoring including glucose sensors etc. You stay overnight from Sunday to Saturday. The camp weeks are: June 9th-15th June 16th-22nd June 23rd-29th Let me know if you are interested. I would need confirmation in the next week so you can completed the application.
